Heather Smiles is a qualified riding instructor, her career began at the age of 18 with British Horse Society Exams. Frustrated with a lack of progress she discovered the amazing improvements made possible by harnessing the power of the Right Brain.She studied with Mary Wanless and taught for several years as a Ride With Your Mind Coach.

Unfortunately a freak accident in 2004 temporarily curtailed Heathers riding career and she discovered Thought Field Therapy which helped her regain confidence and she began to use the enforced inability to ride to good purpose by training with Natural Horsemanship and positive re-enforcement experts, gaining valuable knowledge and skills.

Back in the saddle after discovering Emotional Freedom Techniques - an offshoot of TFT, Heather was flabbergasted to discover that not only could EFT help riders but could also radically improve the way people and horses interact by working directly with the horse.

With an special interest in helping riders of all ages struggling with confidence issues, Heather has found that EFT is the ideal tool for increasing harmony, enjoyment and safety.

Amy Smiles is currently in her third year at University and also an EFT practitioner. Her urge to train in EFT was initiated by her Mother's enthusiasm, and she quickly realised the miriad of uses that students could put EFT to! 

Already credited with an increased final degree grade, by helping a fellow student overcome her presentation fears with EFT, Amy is now training in skills complementary to EFT such as Reiki and Crystal Healing.

 

Local Workshops and Consultations around the UK

 Heather and Amy are based in Barnoldswick, a small town on the borders of Lancashire and North Yorkshire. Situated in glorious countryside, Barnoldswick has no connecting A roads, a fact that really adds to the town's unique character. However it is centrally placed for anyone travelling to our workshops, with good connections to the motorway network.
