Power of Position - Workshop
Many of our riding issues are more easily addressed away from the horse.
There is a theory that our brains can handle 5 pieces of new information at a time (plus or minus two, depending on your personal style).
This means that learning new facts whilst you are actually on your horse can be hard, as several of the 'slots' available for new learning are busy dealing with how your horse feels, the weather, coping with distractions etc. Learning positional corrections whilst off horse allows much more learning to be achieved in a quicker time frame. It is also tremendous fun!
The workshop includes exercises to discover the correct balanced line up for your body, exercises to find the correct muscle use, discoveries regarding symmetry and asymmetries, and also ways to find a good contact with the horse's mouth.
